Overview:
Situated in the middle area between the Counties of Achtburg to it's west, and mannus to its east, Araburg county is a collection of 9 major cities and dozens of small farm towns. The "Midland County" as it is called is known for being a centerpiece of commerce and trade for the northern line of cities across Counties. Araburg is known for it's control of both rocks, minerals, gems and metals from the northern mountain range, to be sold south or traded for spices, food, textiles from the south.


Location:
Araburg city sits in the center of it's county protection borders. It runs from the Northern mountain border to Anistlav, The eastern shore of the Ivyrun River, and east to the edge of the Griffon Plains.


Leadership:
Count Eron Fedwyn VII / Countess Asa Fedwyn currently rule Araburg from the city. Asa Fedwyn was originally named Asa Von Araburg, and a direct descendant of the family that formed the city Ages past. Her family pull in the city is absolute, she controls most of the commerce and her family holdings in town still dwarf almost all other families combined. Countess Asa handles her family business while her husband runs the city and county. Together, they control the county and continue to amass their fortunes. Asa often makes trips to Kings Watch to alert and keep Prince Jeggred up to date as to what is happening in his midland county.

People of:
People of Araburg county are hardworking and proud people. from hay-tossers to merchant lords, the county of Araburg breeds people proud of their work, and not too proud to get their hands dirty.
The people of Araburg City are industrious, courteous and mostly hard working. The city isn't without it's dark side as any large city has.

History:



Current History:
Araburg is currently trying to help the surrounding farms and mining camps. Protecting their citizens from raiding orcs and now a immigration swarm of Vornn into the mountains to the North. Reports of other creatures arriving from the mountains, swooping south into farmlands and into mining camps. Many of the mines are owned by the Fedwyn family themselves, and are always seeking sellswords and ratcatchers willing to go into the mountains and stem the flow.
