Greater Mask
The Greater Mask is the highest position within the Followers of the Unknown Face, serving as the shadowy figurehead that rules over the secretive organization. It is said that the Greater Mask is not a single individual, but rather a collective of high-ranking members who operate under the guise of a single entity though no-one outside of the organisation has ever penetrated the shadowy depths of the organization and resurfaced to tell their tale.
Whilst they are rumoured to be skilled in the arts of deception and manipulation, and many believe they are able to control their followers through fear and cunning alone, this is in fact not the case, as any who gain the vaunted title of Greater Mask also gain the supernatural ability to bend any in the Faith to their will.
Only a select few within the organization are said to have ever seen the Greater Mask in person and none that have can remember the features of the person who presented themselves. Their identity remains a mystery to all, even the most loyal and trusted members of the faith not truly knowing who it is that leads their flock.
