High Priest/ess
The High Priest/ess is the leader of the Congregation of Hartia, the religious following devoted to the worship of Hartia, the goddess of Agriculture and the Hunt. The High Priest/ess is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Congregation, including leading ceremonies, interpreting the Scrolls of the Heartlands (the holy book of Hartia), and serving as a spiritual guide to the congregation's members.
In addition to these responsibilities, the High Priest/ess is often seen as a representative of Hartia and serves as a liaison between the Congregation and the outside world. They may have political influence and play a role in decision-making processes in matters that affect the Congregation or the communities that they serve.
The High Priest/ess is typically chosen through a combination of divine inspiration, community support, and training in the teachings of Hartia. They are expected to live a life of devotion and purity, serving as a role model for others in the Congregation.
