Pereguine, Aarakocra Ranger

Pereguine or 'Perry' as his companions know him, was once a cleric in a Holy Order. One fateful day, his order was destroyed, their temple ransacked and burned, seemingly all his comrades slain, all the while he was off on an errand and returned too late. Perry left his holy life behind to pursue a life as a ranger, hunting down orcs and any other monstrosity terrorizing cities or the good people of the realm. After travelling alone for sometime, Perry encountered an adventuring group trying to slay Cryovein, a young white dragon posing a threat to the town of Phandalin. It wasnt long before he was a staple of the group and helped recruit new companions to aid them. One such recruit was a former, thought to be lost, comrade, 'Scary Terry' a minotaur Paladin turned Barbarian who used to serve under Perry in the 'Holy Wars'.
