06 To Be {a Doppelgänger} or Not to Be
General Summary
Aramys gets back from getting treats for Koi, soaking wet, smelling of fish, with a chunk of skin missing from her right arm.
When Chip goes to sleep, he sees a man in his sleep. They are sitting at a table with cups in front of them. Chip takes a sip from his cup of water, but after passing his lips, it turns into wine instead. He asks if they have any spring water, but the man says that this is the only water they have "here".
After waking, Belladonna sees Elzador in his bed, already awake and reading a book. He offers Belladonna some of his water to help her with her hangover symptoms. She is very curious about what's happening to him.
Aramys and Chip meet up downstairs and talk about what the other has missed. After Bella and Elza get down as well, some hilarity ensues, as Arlayana believes those two spent the night together. The party then decides to get some bandages for Aramys' arm, and on the way there, Elzador stops by Baylen's Books. Aramys stealths along with him, and still sees Elza being weirdly nice and likable. The party starts to think that what they brought back from the cave might not be Elzador, but a Doppelgänger instead. They get to the apothecary building, which is a temple to Lilion. The building also doubles as a "school," where people can come to get extra courses or studies. The sign on the building has an ink jar with a feather in it. When they get inside, they see a calico Tabaxi, who takes Aramys towards one of the four doors - First Aid, Languages, Emergency, Mathematics. After getting some first aid, Aramys is surprised that healthcare is free in the world of Eithur - at least first aid, in temples. The Tabaxi also checks out Elzador's head for injuries, but says there are none. They also go check on Liam, who is doing a-okay!
When they get back to the Guild, they check out the notice board for any new missions, and see the community board's notices. TEST SUBJECT NEEDED! We at the Barrington Bakery are looking for subjects to test out our new magical breads. We infuse magic into the mixing process for a, hopefully, tasteful bread. You will need to taste each bread, and have our scholar review the side effects. You will be paid per day.

They ask Arlayana for a truth serum, who sells them one vial for 20GP. Elzador goes to the library to find information on Curseveils. He finds out that since they're made of mist, they are vulnerable to wind. After learning that, he copies the spell Gust of Wind into his spellbook. Back at the GGG, Aramys uses her ring to communicate with the Vixen Syndicate, but is unsure of whether the message goes through. Once Elza gets back, they all have some tea - except Elzador's is spiked with the truth serum. He casts Detect Magic to make sure it's not poison, since everyone has been acting weird around him, and then drinks it and confirms he is not a doppelgänger.

He also asks his mother for something to give to the King as a present, and she presents him with a metal vase that has flowers blooming on it. It looks beautiful.
