History

Tanion and Noinat used to be one entity - Taniat. However, the worshippers of Taniat were distinctly split into two - those who worshipped the "pure" emotions and those who worshiped the "selfish" or "evil" emotions.   Due to this, there was a big battle between the two factions. The factions resented each other, both feeling they were better than the other. This battle ended with both sides losing their head of religion. Once both priestesses had been killed by the members of their own religion, the god Taniat split into two - Tanion and Noinat.   Just before Taniat was split into two, as it was happening, they appeared in middle of the battlefield, bestowing their last bit of shared wisdom onto the worshippers. He said that there is no purpose in good and evil, there are consequences to every choice and every emotion. Then, before the eyes of their priests and priestesses, Tanion and Noinat were born.   The worshippers of both sides of the god deeply regret this happening, and have become mediators in religion, to make sure this never happens again.
