Jia

Jia was a Simra who lived during the Age of the Meydra. She was daughter of Elairus and Lei, and sister of Lind. She and Lind trained as warriors, and jointly led the military forces of Bluehaven, being the fiercest warriors in the city. Jia was known to be rather pragmatic and humorless, having never quite recovered from the unexplained disappearance of her father when she and her brother were very young. During a war the then relatively small village of Bluehaven was fighting with a tribe of barbarians, she remained in Bluehaven while her brother traveled with a small group of soldiers to try to negotiate a truce. Lind and his men were all slaughtered while on this mission, and the nomads launched an assault on Bluehaven immediately afterwards. Jia died of her wounds after successfully defending her home in a long, hard battle which claimed many lives but wiped out the barbarians entirely.
