Borya Horvat
Prime Monarch
A dwarven ruler of Glace whose most recent reign as Prime Monarch was from 894 - 896. The most conservative member of the three-person royal council, Borya has been a strong opponent of all reform and democratic movements in the kingdom. He was a die-hard supporter of the winter goddess Iver, insisting that she would return to her temple in the capital up until the goddess’ death in 896. He ended his term in disgrace, and in 902 he abdicated and chose to let his grandson Szymon take the throne as Prime Monarch. He continued to advise Szymon on crucial political decisions, ensuring his influence well into the 4th Cycle's tenth century.
