General Summary
Month 9, Week 3 - Month 9, Week 4, Year 935
The party successfully carted the sahuagadile's remains back to Marigold High-hill in Orem, generously rewarded for their hard work defeating the monster. Rather than spending another week on the road heading back to Dhyrlonis, the group decided to stay in Sabha's capital to catch up on downtime. Leena helped helped out the healers at the Ageless One temple, and Jaariko crafted several bombs for the party. A letter from the GHG updated them about any open missions, apparently a group called the Fat Valley Bandits had successfully dealt with the landslides in Broggfey near the Temeraire Mtns. But they found a listing for a job in Orem, a goliath woman named Alia was looking for help retrieving an astrolabe stolen by the Handgun. Karly was reluctant to help an aristocrat collect such a powerful artifact dating back to the age of the Dragon God-Kings, but the party was intrigued enough by stories of the astrolabe's power to conduct an investigation of their own into the Handgun's activities. So the group conducted a meeting with a Handgun agent named Nikki Merit, ferried to a dreamlike auction room where they could browse magic items from all over Pescaliat. Karly and Eraji found the draconic astrolabe on display, already sold to an unnamed client. Karly purchased an item for herself to keep up appearances, but the party was determined to find the Handgun's distribution site and intercept the astrolabe's hand-off.
