Oolong Kawa

Head of Kawa Clan in the Northern Territories, 903 - Present. Preferring neutrality after centuries of warfare, she refused to intervene while Oda Clan waged a ruthless war against Kiri Clan in 908 under the leadership of Bucephalus the Rambunctious. At first this neutrality appeared to be disastrous for Kawa Clan's fortunes in the region as Oda Clan and Sardivelia dominated the Northern Territories' shipping routes, but by joining Kyoko Hara's Northern Union in 919 Oolong was able to reassert her kingdom's influence in the region as a middle power of culture and commerce. She passed away in 933 from an unexplained illness after a visit to the Kawa Clan's territories in the Koulan Forests, her daughter Matcha becoming the new head of the clan.
