Puck of Talking

A hockey puck-sized device that allows for long-distance communication. Invented by Rakkan artificers at the start of the 4th Cycle's tenth century, the device for uninterrupted communication between two parties so long as they succeed a DC 15 Investigation check to understand the contraption. The device bounces soundwaves through the magical aura floating in Ekal's lower atmosphere, connecting two parties so long as they are tuned in to the same frequency. 
The Puck of Talking has become a revolutionary achievement for connecting the sprawling kingdom of Rakka, but the Puck appears to have limitations when used in the Underdark or during stormy weather.
