Renata Grappas
Leader of the Grappas noble family in Sardivelia. One of the few survivors of Paoli Piedmonte's Red Monday massacre in 881, she retreated to the family hometown of Petronius in political exile. For years she tried to diversify the family's investments away from its more illicit businesses, but family traditions proved difficult to change as several relatives plunged head-first into illegal gambling dens and smuggling operations in the newly-annexed Sardivelian territories of Southern Pescat. She's still officially the matriarch of the Grappas family, but her nephew Drago oversees the family's criminal enterprises in Silvio.
