The Collected Works of Wouldiwaz Shookspeare
A collection of several dozen plays written by Wouldiwaz Shookspeare, the greatest playwright in the Elflands Empire's history. Active during the reign of Empress Cordelia (1186, 3rd Cycle - 1633, 3rd Cycle), over the course of three centuries he wrote some of the most memorable lines in the Common language and coined phrases still used in the modern day. Some of his most iconic plays include:
- Titus Androshnikosh: A violent tragedy set during the era of the Dragon God-Kings in the 1st Cycle, it follows the fall of a wealthy family of priests as intrigues in the draconic court suddenly turn against them.
- The Tetralogies: A series of plays covering the reigns of Old Myltev's archmagi autokrators. Such quotes like 'Heavy is the head that wears the crown' and 'Now is the winter of our discontent' originated in these plays.
- Taming of the Monstrosity: A romantic comedy set in contemporary Elflands, the play includes themes of mistaken identities, unrequited love, and the transmutation of multiple characters.
