The Red Masque

Summary

Sometime in the 300’s a mysterious plague swept through the feudal towns and manors of Despero. One manor closed its doors to all those begging rescue from the disease as the nobility spent its time partying. A year later the town’s survivors found everybody in the manor dead. Some journals found inside the manor recounted the estate’s collapse into intrigue, madness, and violence with a mysterious nobleman clothed in red at the forefront of this chaos. To this day the noble houses of Despero still look over their shoulders for a gentleman in red whenever they participate in shady deals.
