Twilight Ring
An emerald ring enchanted to allow for long-distance communication. When two people are both wearing Twilight Rings, they can communicate uninterrupted for one hour or two half-hour increments. During the conversation, a shimmering green hologram of the speaker appears on the ring of the person they're communicating with. In order to communicate with someone the rings must be synced to each other, but they can be synced to more than just one ring. While designed for one-on-one communication, multiple people can be contacted at the same time so long as everybody in the call has synced rings with each other. For each additional person on the call the spell's duration decreases by ten minutes.
The Twilight Rings are charged by the rising and the setting of the sun, and will only work so long as one person on the call is in daylight. Invented by the wood elves of Hakon centuries ago, the enchanted rings were seized by Gameth during their conquest of Liat at the start of the 4th Cycle. Crafting a Twilight Ring is an expensive and time-consuming process, so only the region's ruling class and elite heroes possess them.
