Violet Blight

A deadly respiratory disease created by Cella Vivaldi. In 936 it started spreading from the Koulan Forests into Sardivelian trading outposts, eventually reaching every corner of Pescaliat.

Symptoms

Violent coughing, shortness of breath, and purple splotches on the neck are all frequent symptoms of those infected. As the disease progresses, the sclera of the victim's eyes start to turn a dark purple color.

Treatment

High-level clerics have been able to treat the disease with powerful healing rituals, but not at a rate capable of keeping up with the Blight's spread.
