Astolfo
Astolfo; the Rider class hero, was a famous beast-master who defeated the fire dragon known as "Tergarym, The Eternal Fire", roughly 500 years ago. Astolfo was the bearer of "The Unbreakable Chain" a magical amulet that would summon a powerful Hippogriff to his side. Atop his mighty steed, Astolfo flew head-first into battle against the fire dragon - which was set to destroy most of the northern lands of Kureta. With his sword and shield, Astolfo battled Tergarym in what is now known as the Doro Hills. Astolfo's prowess in battle, and his mastery of mounted aerial combat, allowed him to outmanoeuvre the dragon eventually slaying the beast in a difficult and tiresome fight. Astolfo did not escape unharmed however, the fire breathe of the dragon burnt away his glorious red hair, as well as scarring his body considerably. Astolfo would go on to be known as the 'Dragon Warrior', for the scales of his slain enemies were forged into scale armour by the dwarves of Bounty Mine. The hero slew many more dragons in his time, until he eventually disappeared somewhere near what is now known as the Stone Falls.
The Unbreakable Chain was a magical amulet that could summon a powerful Hippogriff. The Hippogriff would be entirely faithful to it's summoner, flying them across great distances with incredible speed.
