The Furious
The black archdevil. Wrath, The Furious, was once ruler of Stygia, before being overthrown by her younger sister Lust, The Lascivious. She now rules Malbolge, where her eternal fury heats the very plane itself.
Malbolge serves as the prison of The Hells, and since Wrath's rule, prisoners here have seen no mercy. Being largely impatient and short-sighted, Wrath lacks the mind of one who would enjoy torture, and so prisoners in Malbolge are often sentenced immediately - be that to eternal imprisonment or utter destruction.
Much of Wrath's attention is focussed on destroying her sister Lust, but the more intelligent archdevil is always two steps ahead.
Wrath's minions include some of the most physically strong devils in The Hells, and she has many Pit Fiends serving under her. It is said that Wrath is the fiery embodiment of fury, as she shares many traits with the ancient fire primordial that is rumoured to have created all fiends.
