Assenbirch Bark

Assenbirch Bark, from the Assenbirch fittingly found in the region around Assenquell is a thick, dark brown almost black barch, that can be refinded into a black dye with little smell and a lasting dyeing effect.   As such, Assenbirch Bark is frequently used to dye hides in a deep but shiny black color, or woold into a glossy black with a slight blue shimmer. So far, this color has not been successfully reproduced, not even bye the talented specialists from Leaf And Let Dye. A few decades ago, a assenbirch sapling was acquired by the shop owners, but it does not develop the thick black bark, growing in the Leafid Herbal Gardens.
