Gamiantown Brookedust

Being this close to the capital, I was not surprised to see life being very busy in Brookedust. What did surprise me was the fascinating and relaxing atmosphere when wandering through the public park and the amazing zoo, gifted to the public a few decades ago. I am not the first visitor to be fascinated by the funny penguins here and I will certainly not be the last.

The region around the settlement Brookedust at the Camiten Stream in the northwestern parts of Caramiza, is ruled by a mercentile council and member of the Gamian Group Trade Alliance.   This settlement is wellknown for the great Brookedust Zoo, which houses many exotic animals. The settlements close proximity to the main capital Bealuki made it feasible as a vacation home for the regent's family. The once private zoo was opened to the public in 1653 and has invited a steady stream of visitors as well as an expansion in the local trade logistics.   The most famous animal of this zoo, a family of penguins, even is part of the settlement's crest.

Yay for penguins! I love that they're so important to the town that they are now part of the crest. :D
