Myridis

Myridis is the name for the magical energy that is found in the ambient environment and can be channeled, stored and transformed by living beings. Contrary to this is Kyneridis, the magical energy bound within inorganic matter.
Based on the Prismatic Theory of Magic there are six known form of Myridis, all associated with different deitis and colors. Trained sorceres claim each type of energy has different affinity to types of spells.
Any living being is able to absorb and channel Myridis to some degree. For most, this will result in more awareness, energy, healthier life and motivation.

Myridis flows all around us, from the rich springs such as those deep within the Wunnewalden up the mountains, over the lands and down the seas. Just like water, it brings life and prosperity. In other places, the energy slowly drains out of the world, leaving the world dry and colorless.

You see all those trees, and crops around us and could never think of our home as a desert. But you feel it, don't you? This land is without color, without energy, this is where Myridis goes to disappear forever.
