Taburas
A large-leafed plant with edible, tuberous roots. It grows in the wild almost all over Caramiza and has become a staple of the local cuisine.
These plants were not native to the region, however, but were introduced by merchants from the west a few hundred years ago. Careful cross-breeding of the plants has resulted in several very different species.
Some of them are more sweet, some grow faster and a very special one even has shimmering blue roots.
