Tearfall Mood

The Tearfall Mood is a general term for a very specific type of bad and depressed mood, caused by the recurring event of the comet Zecod's Tear passing over the night sky for several days. Every time this happens, the general depression, as well as aggression and unusual behavior among the people, becomes so unusual, it was classified as an actual condition.
The exact effects of suffering from the Tearfall Mood differ between persons. Most people either display a heightened level of stress and aggression, while others become very reclusive and depressed with the danger of self-harming. A general side-effect seems to be a drastically lowered awareness of consequences, leading people towards more dangerous or unsafe actions, increasing the number of accidents happening.
Because of the well-known effect, any contract closed during the comet's days can be considered invalid.
