Lilith (LIH-lith)
A Resident/non-CCN
Lilith (a.k.a. Lilitu, Lamashtu, Ardat Lili, Lamia, Naamah, Ninsianna, Kiyohime, Kamapua’a)
In the beginning, from the vast expanse of The Void emerged the primordial deities, each embodying fundamental aspects of existence. Among them was El, the creator god, who crafted the heavens, the earth, and all living beings. On the sixth day, El created the first humans: Adam, from the dust of the earth, and Lilith, from the same dust, making her equal to Adam in every way.
Lilith, strong-willed and independent, refused to submit to Adam's authority, declaring, "We are both made from the same earth. We are equals." This assertion led to conflict, and unable to reconcile their differences, Lilith chose to leave Eden. She uttered the Almighty's ineffable name and fled to the shores of the Red Sea. Despite angels urging her to return, Lilith chose freedom over submission, becoming a symbol of independence and defiance.
Lilith's life outside Eden was marked by her role as a progenitor of various ancient civilizations. She bore thousands of children, who became the ancestors of diverse cultures and religions around the world. Lilith's lineage became a rich tapestry of human history, and her influence is felt across continents and eras.
In the Ethereal Realm of Tir na nOg, Lilith has found a peaceful existence, far removed from the conflicts of her past. Her striking beauty, marked by her strong features and flowing dark hair, is a reflection of her inner strength and resilience. She spends her days in contemplation, exploring the lush landscapes of Tir na nOg, and engaging in various artistic pursuits.
Lilith has become a revered figure in this realm, her wisdom and experiences offering guidance to those who seek it. She enjoys painting, capturing the ethereal beauty of Tir na nOg's landscapes, and writing poetry that reflects her journey and the harmony she has found. Her presence is a testament to the power of independence and the beauty of living true to oneself.
Lilith frequently visits Chavah (Eve), Adapa (Adam), Shet (Seth), and Asherah, who also reside in Tir na nOg. Each has their own separate residence, but the barriers and past grievances have been left behind. All that remains is love and friendship, creating a harmonious existence among them.
