Calliope is a young maid in service to the Neriphyra estate. Calliope and Phoebe have been close friends since they were small children, so when her parent's died, she was taken in as Phoebe's personal servant. She has been trained since childhood to be an excellent maid, she can do everything required of a proper maid, from cooking, cleaning, sewing, and even some light housekeeping, but her most important task is to be an aide to Phoebe. She does not have the duties of most of the other maids, not being required to clean the estate or cook for the family. However, she has made it her duty to personally clean Phoebe's chambers and to cook every meal for her mistress. Calliope also makes sure that Phoebe always looks her best at all times.
