Can anyone speak Ibis?

Veronica May (aka Veronica Applebee) is in a bind. Her girlfriend, Laura Serean, has fallen in with the cult called The Brotherhood of Steel. Unsure if this is by her own choice or due to some enchantment, Veronica reaches out to the guild to harvest 5 Belliga flowers. They bloom from a magical crystaline vine only once a year, on an island south of Chicko Rock.

Veronica's companions found the flowers easily enough, only to have a giant ibis grab one and take off with it! As they flew off in pursuit, Lady Wintergreen sent them a magical message with a dire warning. The giant ibis was, as far as she knew, the last male of its kind. To complicate matters, a blue dragon had decided the fleeing ibis would be lunch and was on an intercept course.

A crazy 3-way battle broke out 500 feet above the ocean waves, with the the party succeeding in wrestling the stolen Belliga flower away from the ibis, but not being able to persuade him to flee for his life from the dragon, as he appeared truly desperate to secure the flower for his child. Eventually they would bludgeon the dragon into submission and force it to flee and chase a whale pod instead.

Intrigued by the ibis' behaviour, Veronica guided it home to Chicko Rock, where the party identified a male chick (already grown about the size of a horse) had been badly injured by something in the undead horde gathering on the mainland to the north. They were able to cure the chick's malady and heal his body, but he remained panicked and distrustful, not allowing his sisters anywhere near him. As he was the only male chick in the brood, the species survival hinged on his recovery, and so his father had dared everything to try to secure the Belliga flower to convince him to relax and breed. With a forceful application of a Philter of Love, the party was able to convince the male chick to bond with his sisters, thus securing the species' survival without the need for the 5th flower.

With all 5 flowers secured, the party returned to the guild hall. Veronica concocted a potion of True Love. This will dispel any enchantment, however powerful, that might be preventing Laura Serean from returning to her - but only if Laura truly loves her.
