Stoneshaft Hold

A scouting team was sent north to lay eyes on Stoneshaft Hold. Disturbing reports had been received of the dwarves there fallen to madness and embracing blight - and the last group of dwarven refugees fleeing their own people reported being hunted for sport by blighted dwarven lords riding chariots of a fell design.

The Little Warriors were presented with three possible paths through the mountains north of the Helgin Glacier, and chose the easternmost. They encountered 'Greg', the silver dragon of the glacier, who guided them through a hidden tunnel that bypassed several watchtowers. On the other side of the passage however, they encountered what appeared to be a slave caravan - many dwarves in cages, one dwarven woman being led along on a leash, all guarded by odd constructs of dwarven construction.

Engaging and destroying the constructs brought the attention of one of the dwarven lords. The dwarven woman, Celeste, appeared in no state to comprehend her surroundings, so she was thrown into the tunnel to hide. The remaining dwarves were left in their cages, the cages tied to Greg in his dragon form to fly them to safety. The party hid in the tunnel with Celeste, which appeared to work until Greg flew too far away to maintain the illusion that had protected the cave entrance.

After engaging the dwarven lord, he escaped, leaving his chariot to fight unpiloted. After destroying the chariot, the party treked north to finish their reconaissance. They discovered a blighted dwarven army of thousands gathering at Stoneshaft Hold, with hundreds of these chariots.

Addressing them was Du'Malth, who was last seen in Tokmor 3 weeks prior.
