Breac's Guild Report - 0.6.15 agf

Miko Tanner raised the alarm at the guild hall having discovered Jae'Kalan's horde was building an anti-magic device on the top of one of their towers laying siege to the Temple of the Silent Queen. With Damien Ironbrand's help, the party identified how to destroy the devices once they got close and pressed south with haste to the front lines.
On reaching the front lines, 'Ikom' attracted the attention of Al'Hazir of the Imperial Astromancers, who observed a scan detecting some illusion hiding his form, but Ikom was able to escape Al'Hazir and lose him in the press of soldiers gathering at the front lines. Jinx Velvetpaw was left being escorted by Al'Hazir to report these troubling findings to Breac Sunfist while the rest of the party approached the tower, scouting it but finding no obvious plan to cross the battle lines undetected.
Breac revealed that he was not at all troubled by 'Ikom's apparent deception and agreed to launch a diversionary attack so Miko's group could approach the tower. Regathering at the front, the Little Warriors circled the tower to approach from the south under the cover of the very dust storm the undead horde was kicking up to negate the Empire's advantage in missile weapons.
Inside the tower, the group was confronted with several magical orbs that blinked on and off with an odd green light. As Miko was about to explain that she'd seen these scrying orbs before, Softpaw ran in to destroy one, while Ikom charged the front doors to confront a construct guarding the stairwell upstairs. A chaotic fight broke out with the little warriors attempting to destroy the construct while sprinting up the stairs before any guards could be summoned. This almost worked until Miko Tanner was possessed by a guardian on the third floor and threw a bag of cragtrops from Red Rock Delivery down the stairs.
The party narrowly escaped a trap of mirrors on the third level, bludgeoned poor Miko Tanner until the vampire spirit possessing her was pulled loose, and then defeated the vampire. On racing to the top floor, the group disabled the anti-magic devices, but Jae'Kalan was witnessed defeating Breac Sunfist on the desert sands below and nearly slaying the High Cleric, and the horde was gathering in the lower floors of the tower in response to the raised alarm. Making use of several of the highly volatile power sources the guild destroyed the Vampire's resting place and leapt from the tower, guided to the safety of the Eal armies with a combination of featherfall and flying capabilities.
On reaching the desert floor, the party made a sombre trip back in escort of their fallen High Cleric. There, they found Lady Ruby Wintergreen, guildmaster of the Little Warriors, had left her vigil on the World Tree to ensure Miko's safety. As she did so, chaos broke out in the guild courtyard, and Wintergreen clutched at her heart. The World Tree sapling had been attacked by Jaspier Penrose, and barely saved by Damien Ironbrand.
