Garrotte's Guild report - 0.6.29 agf

Missing cargo

Location Starport

These are the following guild members who participated in the quest   Garrotte - satyr Guerre - fallen aasimar (cleric) LvI 8 Rackin - gnome (wizard) Lvl 7 Barrik - half orc (fighter) Lvl 6 Max - Kenku (wizard) LvI 5

Rackin, Bbarrik max met up with guerre and garrotte and then garrotte brief them on the mission. Edible cargo has been going missing, these incidents seemed to be linked to the ship, S S Crab.

The team, except Garrotte, went to investigate the S S Crab. They met the lizardman ship’s captain , Jack Sails. Max proceeded to use “Message” cantrip to berate the captain with legalise and paperwork. The party convinced the captain to show them his logbook and while Max and Rackin read the logbook, Guerre and Barrik visited the dock master to check his logs.

Guerre used “calm emotion “ on an angry crowd, making the crowd even angrier when it failed. Barrik pretended to capture Guerre and took him to the dock master. At the dock master’s, they read his logs and learned of another possible lead, the S S Mongoose. They headed back to the S S Crab.

Meanwhile at the S S Crab, Rackin used his hawk familiar to scout the S S Crab and surrounding docks. He then cast “invisibility” on himself and went into the water, climbing onto the ship to investigate further.

When the others returned, Max was still harassing the captain and the halfling quartermaster, Rockleaf.

The party convinced the captain to allow them onboard to investigate . They checked the captains and the quartermasters quarters. Rackin, while invisible, explored the bottom decks.

Everyone eventually ended up on the bottom deck. After Max meticulously investigated the area for 20 minutes, they all decided to give up investigations of the S S Crab. Rackin , still invisible, went to the S S Mongoose. Instead of finding stolen food, he uncovered an Opium smuggling operation. He was disappointed and returned to the rest of the party.

As Barrik was leaving the S S Crabs cargo hold, he noticed something moving. He told the others and charged towards the movement, pushing barrels and boxes out of his way. He stopped when a barrel was revealed to be a large Mimic. The party learnt that the Mimic had been stealing all the food. Just as the fight started, Max convinced the Mimic to surrender. They transported the Mimic back to the Guild. It now lives in the Guilds Naturalist Enclave.

(Ps) I seem to have lost my favourite wrist sundial at the port. If anyone sees it please give it to me. I really miss it.
