Guild report from Na'Faish

Governess Riley requested that the guild step in to save her family, and any of the refugees, fleeing from the undead army that had destroyed Glendale. She had already sent some personal allies to Moorsland who were trying to organise rescue missions and organise the chaotic situation bringing as many people to safety as possible. However, she wants the guild to focus on saving her family while her friends save others. She provided the details on where they can find Paladin Athel who is currently on site and can provide more details on the changing situation.

The group took a teleportation circle over to Eal and rode horses east to the edge of Moorsland to find Athel. The paladin provided information on Riley's family so the group knew who to look for and a map constructed by Athel's scouts who marked areas for them to start searching whilst promising to send people after them, when he can spare them, to help guide refugees back to the camp for treatment so asked that they keep him and any of his people informed of their movements. Time was of the essence. Athel also warned them to be careful in the area as there had been strange thunder and lightning storms to the North East of their camp, and that some of the ground seemed a little unstable to the east.

The group headed off and found Riley's nephew fighting ghasts, mummies and a mummy lord, Telephet, with a refugee fighter. It was a difficult fight but they managed to defeat the undead, unfortunately the nephew was badly hurt and his friend had perished. A scout helped the nephew back to camp. The group went off again and managed to find two members of Riley's family (the nephew's wife and kid) who were injured and hiding behind a shield being attacked by minotaur skeletons, ghasts, bone naga. The group fought them off and won. They healed the refugees and had them escorted back to camp. Still looking for one more person they stumbled across a massive cave with crystalised walls and large claw marks on the ground. They fought off two cultists in blue robes that had dragon claw design on their backs and an air elemental before going back to camp to rest. There the group learnt that the fourth and last member of Riley's family they'd been looking for, her brother, had perished back in Glendale before they'd even taken the quest having tried to distract some skeletons away from his family as they left their home.
