Guild report from the Columbja Gauntlet - 0.6.8 agf

Seperation and Discovery

A party of five, Luric, Major Dark Strider, Gingy, Siff and Estuary, ventured out to investigate a missing caravan. The Columbja Gauntlet was a precarious but important trade route between Pizol Springs and the Emberin Halls, linking the two blight-cleansed zones. A few broken trees and imprints in the ground along with 4 distinct carriage tracks and horse tracks was found near a semicircle of crushed caravans, with a fourth still intact 20 feed from a clearing.

Major investigated the fourth intact caravan and found 3 roosts with accompanying blood stains, a dead and gaunt goat along with a lightly blighted alive goat. The goat was too injured to attack and Major attempted to heal it with a good-berry. It...popped. Major and Siff took the goats 2 horns.

They then sent Lurics familiar, an owl to scout the surroundings where they found a small circle of three suspiciously tall trees surrounding a small flesh pile with a green flame burning above it. Major punched one of the trees which revealed them to be blighted treants. The Treants steadily grow tougher as the green flame grew bigger and consumed the giant corpse pile. Eventually when the last Treant was felled the flame grew big enough to engulf the pile and it disappeared.

The party found a set of small footprints nearby that led to a wide underground cave. Inside the cave was 8 Flesh Mimics fighting a Gold Elemental. The Little Warriors attempted to aid the elemental - which proved costly, with Major falling unconsious and Siff becoming moderately blighted. Persistent and consistent healing restored them to fighting condition. Major and Estuary talked to the Elemental and convinced it the guild was there to help. The primordial was un-summoned and the party attempted to heal a heavily blighted little girl found nearby. They were successful in at least preventing the blight from overtaking the girl's form. The party the agreed to move at a fast pace on a warship that can go on land and water and manage to get her back to Pizol Springs before she progressed.
