Ohmic
The grim Tempest with a soft heart
In an ancient time a temple was raised for Ohmic. A large stone pyramid bearing his symbol, it had long silver poles along each side and perpetually moving discs around the centre, all metal vibrated as it got closer to the temple.
Proud of a perfect representation of the core 3 tenants of his power: conduit, relative motion and magnetism, he blessed the surrounding mountains with bountiful rain and merciful clouds. The land flourished under his gaze.
One day an incredibly powerful wizard came to challenge Ohmic for his place as a God. “Foolish mortal” Ohmic thought as he demonstrated not only his power over lightning, thunder and rain but also the components that can create electricity.
He had perfect control over his movements allowing him to move at incredible speeds by increasing his frequency also granting immunity to harmful thunder and sound.
His body was a conduit and as a result not only is he immune to electrical damage he can control, amplify, and redirect any electricity that struck him.
Finally, he possesses the ability of magnetism, to be able to shift his body as a north or South Pole no magnetic metal could face him.
Ohmics soft spot for his followers is obvious. Many people are angry and believe him evil when he conjures cyclones and electrical storms but only do his priests and clerics know that he maintains a precious balance with other Gods of nature. Just because he destroys indiscriminately does not mean he does not care for life. He shows mercy to places that venerate him as he knows the little praise he gets helps prevent him from becoming a vengeful God.
