Howdy!! Uhh, I'm back! And uhh was a very...interesting welcome. I should probably document e'rything that happened. From my humble understandin', I may have...unwillingly led some unfriendly folks to our guild. It was explained to me that these folk were of some "Rotwood Conclave"? The apparent perpetrators of the Blight that has caused quite a peck o' trouble. They tried to barter with the lives of the residents o' Galleytown. We did what we could ta talk 'em but... I don' think their shot was for a peaceful resolution. The secon' it looked like they weren't gon' get e'rything they wanted, they set fire to a ranch. The folks of the guild nearby jumped to action, rescuin' as many townsfolk as possible while dealin' with that threat at hand.

It's with a heavy heart I report the loss of 60 lives. 59 townsfolk and one member of the guild. I...I did what I could fo' Layla. I pray that's it's enough.

This "Rotwood Conclave" is awful sorts. I don' like the way they do business one bit. They have me right fit ta be tied they do. Not friend-like behaviour at all.

I have a feelin' this won't be their first attack. I spied two odd critters keepin' watch on the scene. I wouldn' be surprised if they were Conclave scouts, strategiserin' for their next attempt.

I ask you all, be on watch. These times are mighty fierce.
