Rin's Guild report - 0.1.4 agf

Stories flooded in from the southern deltas, and the many fishing Villages there. A Black Ship with Dark Sails was taking sailors into its dark captivity, and none survived or returned to tell.

A group of brave adventurers was "Volunteered" by Rin the Fish Sorceress to investigate this anomily, and after setting sail... the Ship quickly found them! sailing away with them into the "Black Shoals" The Ship was names "Nave' Oscura" and immediately they sensed some dark druidic magic at work in its construction.

As they surveyed the Deck of the ship as it sailed through churning waters, Bodysnatcher Plants erupted from the hull and masts, attempting to capture the party, but quick thinking and clever strategy forced a retreat of these malicious plants and they withdrew back into the cursed wood and down below.

After meeting a dark ghost who begged for the freedoms of those below, the party made their way down, being attacked by rotting sharks, being puppeted by the evil vines, they found a huge monster of seaweed and malice at the bottom of the ship in firm control of it's hungering desires. But in charge of this monster was the ghostly aparition!

The creature dropped the illusion magic, revealing itself as a strange dark merfolk creature, black moonlight following its form, it left the players to their doom and swam off into the dark waves.

But the Adventurers were strong! they conquered the evil plant below, and without its noxious vines, the ship fell apart again, torn to shreds in the waves below as they were rescued from the turbulent waters by Rin and the Giant Fish-thing Guppy.

The waters may be calmer now, but this seems to bode of darker things to come from these southern oceans.
