Svardborg Guild report - 0.1.4 agf

After some trouble with the wind, guild agents and recovery specialists reached the now steadily melting island of Svardborg to recover 4 longboats the giants had been using. They attempted initially to parley with the 2 white dragons still living on the island, noting the draggon eggs on the top of the island. This seemed to work at first as everyone made it clear they were there for the longboats, and thus seemed to be beneath the dragons' notice. However one of the crews went ashore to scavange and plunder whatever they could find.

On the journey back to Tarnhaven the recovery team met merfolk, a friendly sea serpent called Steve, ghosts and something with tentacles. They fed Steve a number of rats and similar things they found with the island salvage before realising they'd inadvertantly brought with them a white dragon egg.

The dragons attacked the boats as they fled with the help of the merfolk of the lake. They focused on a single boat, ignoring their egg that was thrown overboard in an attempt to distract them. The boat attacked by the white dragons would sink, its crew perishing in the assault, but the guild member on board that boat would be teleported to safety at the last possible moment by their guildmates.

2 of the recovered boats have been claimed by the Little Warriors Adventurers Guild. The third has been claimed by the adventuring guild members, and the crew of the salvage team have been paid a flat, predetermined fee.
