Thal'tai Guild report - 0.0.13 agf

The party received an emergency notice from the Little Warriors Adventure’s Guild to assist in a refugee mountain crossing; the refugees in question will be crossing the territory of Lord Sulan of the Southern Mountains. Lord Sulan was building his military by pressing refugees who enter his territory into service, and building his wealth by using these conscripts as mercenaries.

The party travelled by air on The Stygian Serenade on loan from Thal'tai to arrive at Sulan City undetected. They observed the operation of magical passes Sulan was using to control rights of passage through the mountain passes. They raided an armory, killed some guards, started a riot as a distraction and entered the castle.

Inside the castle they released a spirit called the 'Storm Serpent'. They encountered Lord Sulan and destroyed the control rod he was using to operate golem guards, and with the aid of the Storm Serpent the guild agents slew Lord Sulan. They retreated with the Pass Printer used to create the magical passes of passage. The barriers used to control access through the roads is still intact, however the guild has begun mass producing the passes required to travel through them and is distributing them throughout the refugee populace. A permanent storm cloud now hovers over Sulan City.
