The Winter Court

The Winter Court is one of two main factions in the Feywild, both of which vie for complete control over the plane. After centuries of warfare with little gain on either side relations have settled into a protracted cold war. However any sense of peace that has resulted is an illusion. Both factions are continuously gathering supplies and allies, and they constantly probe for any advantage or opportunity to strike a decisive blow.

The Winter Court is led by the Queen of Night. Under her leadership the court values patience and knowledge, in contrast to the Summer Court's focus on directness and honesty. There was a permanent portal linking the Guild hall to the Winter Court for the purpose of trade, however it was destroyed along with the World Tree. The Winter Court does have a presence in the Material Plane in this world, but there is no direct overland route to this location.

Guild members are cautioned that Feywild creatures percieve the world in a very different way to mortals. Be cautious when dealing with them. Summer Court denizens can be agressive in their self-righteousness, while Winter Court members will lie and cheat as naturally as we breathe. Pixies will not join either court, they are too independant, but they can be mischievous. This is simply their nature.
