Upon learning that her bag of holding had been stolen Thea, who also dragged Nyra along, went back to Frostpine Village in the hopes of finding her valuable gear. Upon returning to the village though they found a massive bonfire outside the village gates. Unsure they headed in and went to find the elder Rolan. He explained that when they came to help against the rift and hadn't finished clearing out the cave they had left some Slaads behind. After the guild had left the creatures attacked, and while they barely managed to defeat them they lost a lot of villagers against the vile amphibians. The bonfire was how they were dealing with the Slaads they defeated. Thea and Nyra apologized but Rolan just waved them off saying that they didn't need an apology, they were thankful for the help they did receive as it would've been much worse if they hadn't come at all. They were still heroes.
After explaining what they were after, Rolan took them further into the town to where some of the Verdant Light were still staying as they might've seen their things. The town seemed to be comprised of wood, stone and metal. As they walked past the centre of the village they saw a statue. The large stone statue was of three people each facing a different direction around the village; a tall, strong woman wearing armor wielding a sword and a determined expression, a halfling in wizarding garb but you can't make out their expression because of their hood, and finally a man with a shield and a battle axe. On the large podium beneath the figures is a silver plaque that reads: “May the Heroes of Frostpine Village live on forever more.” Underneath are roughly 25 names on it. At first your eyes roaming the plaque don’t pick up any familiar names until you get closer to the end and see the following names: con , Lachie , Lilly -Teegath Angelus, Slatemaw, Zahariel, @Reagan - Azrael, @Morvull Kimbatuul , Caitlyn - Thea Embersun, @Molly - Nyra Nightflame, @Aramil Silverfrond .
They continued on and learnt from Anastasia that she hadn’t seen Thea’s bag but Breena from the fight lived close by and she might know something. The pair left and headed for Breena’s home when a large explosion rattled the small village sending a massive fireball into the air. Nyra and Thea ran towards it and in the smoldering wreckage of a building found Fenven attacking Breena. The elf was demanding his gold and staff back continually accusing the halfling of stealing it after the battle against the Awakening. Thea and Nyra managed to calm Fenven down enough that between them they were able to force a confession out of Breena. Myran, a member of the Verdant Light (and Aasimar), flew in and knocked Fenven out before flying away promising that the elf will be held responsible for his actions. Thea found her bag in the rubble unharmed. Later the Verdant Light banished Fenven from their ranks as this wasn’t the first time he’d lashed out but not before forcing him to pay for the damage to the village he’d caused. Now alone in Elanora Fenven grew bitter and started attacking Con, Thea and Nyra hating them personally for what he believed they’ve done to him previously. He blamed them for his banishment from the Verdant Light. The Verdant Light joined with Frostpine Village and are running it as a base with Elder Rolan.
