Ospen

The Arbor Sea

A country founded in the canopy of giant trees that co-existed with the nature around them. Sturctures were built in a way that incoporates the landscape, such as houses in the leaves, taverns in the trunks of giant redwoods, and barracks in natrually forming caverns. They were invaded in 1250 AD by the Esmen Theocracy during Tymora's Crusade. Ospen was dissolved in 1252 AD following their defeat, with all significant figures publicly executed.

Although Radixes were elected by the people of Ospen every 13 years, one seat was chosen by the four newly elected Radixes who must choose a Radix that has previously served on the Silva council. The Radix elected holds the special title "Radix Vetus." Each Radix had personnel who served their respective Radix, but all personnel had a duty to their country of Ospen.
