The Land of Mages

After being slain by the founders of Tosmola, the evil god had placed a curse on them. The evil god, whose name is long forgotten by the people of Elari, cursed the founders of short memory, being able to only remember two days worth of memories. Faced with this curse the founders swore to create a country where all records of the world shall be safeguarded and kept, to withstand the passage of time. The Founder's Archive, located in Tosmola's capital city, is lauded as the most complete collection of knowledge on the entire continent.

The title of Archmage is inherited typically by one of the Archamge's pupils. The Arcanum Council can remove a sitting Archmage by vote where all Archmages vote to remove the Archmage in question. A vote is then held to select a new candidate for the vacant position.
