Approach Future/Return to Past -Rare-

Source: Elaris - Complete Arcane

Effect

5th Edition
You manipulate the flow of time in a small area, rapidly altering the age of objects in the area as you choose. Select a non-magical object that fully fits within a 5-foot cube within range. Choose Approach Future or Return to Past as the effect of this spell:   Approach Future: Ink dries, water over fire boils, and candles burn down to stubs. You speed up time for the object, causing them to move forward 5 minutes for every minute spent concentrating on the spell.   Return to Past: Rotting fruit freshens, torn documents are mended, and shattered pottery becomes whole. You reverse the aging process for the object, causing it to appear as it did for 5 minutes ago for every minute spent concentrating on the spell.   In either case, this spell does not affect the object’s physical location in space, and nothing outside of this area is affected. For example, a page torn from a book is not transported back to its binding if the page is outside the spell’s area, and thus the page will not be restored to the book.   As a bonus action, you can switch between the Approach Future and Return to Past while concentrating on this spell.   You become more able to control the flows of time as you grow in strength. The magnification of the time this spell changes increases by 5 minutes per minute of concentration when you reach 5th level (10 minutes per minute), 11th level (15 minutes per minute), and 17th level (20 minutes per minute).
