Once you expend this rune, it does not recharge until you finish an 8-hour rest.

Giant-Kin

You are descended from the mighty giants, mixed with the men of old. For effects targeting creatures by type, titanforged count as both giants and humanoids (whichever type allows an ability to affect them for abilities that affect only one type, and whichever is worse for abilities that affect both types). They gain one of the following runes, carved into their skin and proudly displaying their giant parentage.

Rune of Light

You have the Rune of Light carved into your skin. You may use a swift action to shed bright light 10 feet out, and dim light for an additional 10 feet for 1 hour. Once you expend this rune, you cannot use it again until you finish an 8-hour rest..

Titanforged are towering people descended from the blood of giants and men. Originally living upon the mountains of their titanic forfathers, these colossal people are far more docile than one would expect of one of their lineage. The titanforged are naturally curious and have a tendency to overestimate the strength of smaller races, using too much of their own until they have lived among these small folk for a good while. Unfortunately, this has a tendency to land them in trouble at first due to accidentally breaking or even killing smaller people. With the rise of technology, this has decreased dramatically as even the smallest of races can become incredibly strong with the proper upgrades.

Home World

The titanforged descend from the mountainous regions of Elaris, but can spring up in small clusters anywhere both giants and humankind reside in at least somewhat peaceful circumstances.

Society and Alignment

Due to their somewhat docile nature, titanforged are able to acclimate to many different areas. They rise up and will always defend their own, but try to outperform others in what can sometimes seem an aggressive gesture. They often seem to boast, but these stories they tell are things they refuse to lie about. They will only speak truthfully of the feats they achieve, seeing it as a way to expand their own fame.

Relations

Much like their massive forefathers, titanforged hold a strong hatred for dragons, and it almost always extends to dragonborn and kobolds as well, seeing them as wretched offspring of their past enemy.

Adventurers

Titanforged adventurers are common, as they wish to outperform each other and see adventuring as a great challenge that allows them to show their skill.

Names

Titanforged often take names from their giant side, seeing them as strong. Typical titanforged names include: Aukan, Eglath, Gae-Al, Gauthak, Ilikan, Keothi, Kuori, Lo-Kag, Manneo, Maveith, Nalla, Orilo, Paavu, Pethani, Thalai, Thotham, Uthal, Vaunea, and Vimak.
