The Birth of the Elves
Long ago, Man lived decadent and greedy lives, they plundered the land for it's bountiful resources, and left it barren in their wake. Their greed however was to be their downfall, for as the oceans dried, and the trees withered, they found themselves choking to death on an air they could no longer breath. It was then that the remaining trees opened and gave life to the elves, so that they may seed the world anew without the humans. However, upon seeing the weakened species the elves took pity on them and sheltered them so they may grow again in time, this time trained to respect nature for what it is.
