Characteristics

Can grow up to three feet in height. Longer tendrils than that of wheat. Ready to harvest when it has a yellow, white color.
Common Uses
Drinking barly-water cures:

• Fevers
• Heats in stomach

Pultis of barly, vinegar, honey, and figs applied to skin cures:

• Inflammation

Pultis of barly meal and water, combined with honey and lily oil applied to skin cures:

• Swelling of ears, throat, and neck

Also used for cooking.
