Bight Tree (bīt trē)

Bight Tree
  Lauraceae Family   Characteristics   Leaves are a glossy, dark green color and are thick with a leather texture. Bark has narrow, flat, furrowed ridges. Has white, cup shaped flowers with yellow stamens in the center. Does contain some berries.   Common Uses   Consuming the berries cures:
  • Bite of venomous beasts
  • Sting of bees and wasps
  • Infectious diseases
Consuming powder of berries mixed with honey cures:
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Worms
Consuming oil of berries cures:
  • Discomfort in stomach, joints, nerves, arteries
  • Cramps
  • Aches
  • Trembling
  • Traveling pains
Application of oil of berries in ear cures:
  • Pain in ear
Application of oil on skin cures:
  • Bruises
  • Itchiness
  • Scabs
Aso used for cooking and said to be able to repel witchcraft.   Very common in the forests surrounding the village. The Custos coven creates their homes by placing magic onto the leaves and branches to protect them from the outer world.   Can be traded at Margaret's Medicine & Herbs for 2 copper coins.
