When Light Paladin's graduated from their training from Beight, they had choices regarding on which talisman they would receive. Each talisman represented an Angel (God) to follow and believe in. Though these Gods are real and their rulers, Paladin's belief comes from the God's values. Knowler wished to explore the world for knowledge while Nave wanted to preserve nature and build civilization around it.

This choice shaped the Light Paladin's duties and magic for the rest of their lives. Even when they retired, their talismans were still with them, along with their magic. None ever discharged dishonorably, so it was a rewarded honor that could not be revoked.

Physical Changes

Light Paladins go through physical changes once they were given their chosen talismans. Once they were given their chosen talismans, Light Paladins underwent physical changes that forever changed their eyes and aura. Some Paladins became strong enough where they gained Angel like qualities. They glowed with visible power, colored mist, according to their magic, surrounded them.
With the power vested in them, they brought peace and prosperity to Astnyr, even in tumultuous times. May they ever be guided by their chosen Gods.
