Eloén

A shattered continent in a shattered world. The denizens of Eloén are varied, from the Humans, Dwarves, and Elves who worked together to build Aelanir's Climb, the Jewel of the East, to the Humans and Gnomes who keep ever vigilant at Eastgrasp, to the Orc clans (Orc, mostly only in name and by tradition) that harry and plunder civilization.
There are more dangerous things than Orcs that live under the Bone Blade Mountains, in the Plains of Solean, and in the Haunted Sea. Those things pale to the threat of conquest from Dawnport, across the Azure Expanse.

Geography

The northernmost half of Eloén is split down the middle by the Bone Blade Mountains. To the west, civilization thrives. This is the heart of invention and creation! To the east, savage tribes roam the land, protecting themselves from the ravages of ... something horrible.
The south, however, was rent asunder by a power no one's grandparents can even describe. Whatever monstrous magics did this, left a terrible toll. The living aren't welcomed and the dead are cursed to forever haunt the sea. There are tales of unimaginable wealth hidden in the Endless Archipelago, amongst the Haunted Sea, but few are brave - or foolish - enough to face the chill of undeath.
