Facial characteristics

Dwarves have a typically rounder or more bulbous face, with most male dwarves sporting a beard and/or moustache of some kind, which they wear and groom with pride.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Dwarves can be found almost anywhere in Eldamar, though you'd be hardpressed to find any in Decreto. They are most common in Durram, where they call the hills and mountains home, but some have branched out from Durram for one reason or another.

Beauty Ideals

Male dwarves value their beards and groom them with great care. To have an unkempt beard or even no beard would be a severe detriment to a dwarf.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Dwarves typically speak Common and Dwarvish, but will often times learn the language of whatever races they deal with most; often being Gnomish or even Halfling.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

A lot of dwarven culture is centered around mining, as well as crafting. Being the creative and driven society that they are, dwarves are always striving to be the best at something, or to create the most incredible thing, whether that be a weapon, a piece of armor, or some other magical item or invention. While the inventing typically goes to the gnomes, dwarves range their specialties and crafts, as they continue to branch out to find new things to create and improve.
