Creation of the dwarves
After creating the mountains by pulling the stone and earth form the depths of the world and razing the up to reach the sky, Moradin hewed the first hall in to their side creating a home for himself and Barronar and a place for them to work. Here in the first hall he created the dwarven race. He moulded their bodies from stone, metal and gems, tempered them in his soulforge and breathed them in to life.
It was the first hall that he taught the first dwarfs to mine ore and gems to hew stone and craft with forge and anvil. From among the first dwarves the wisest, strongest, boldest and skilled closest to the example set by Moradin, their all father, from among them he chose the first kings and queens. Those kings and queens he sent out to world to lead clans in their own right. It is from these first rules that the royal families of the dwarves trace their lineages. Most of the dwarves set out in to the multiverse as part of these clans to learn and live by Moradin's example, to one day join the Mordinsamman again in the first hall.
This is the believe of all dwarves, their beginning and their purpose.
