The master of ships

Qualifications

Any member of the Clan Dragonstout can be appointed to the office of master of ships by the Dragonstout king.

Appointment

The king appoints the master of ships directly to office. After being handed the mark of sails, one is officially in office.

Responsibilities

The master of ships is responsible for overseeing the royal fleet of Clan Dragonstout and the maintenance of the port of Thordir.

Upon apointment to the office of master of ships an individual serves until death or royal degree removes him from office.
